Saw Dr Barry for the first time, today, & loved his energy. He's very attentive & super kind, along with Tamika who took my vitals. Sweet young lady. Rest of staff and dealt with, also kind. Made me feel like I already knew them. Highly recommend!

Dr. Barry is my hero! I recently needed medical clearance for a surgical procedure, but I encountered a problem when my MD did a medical workup and he thought he saw something concerning on my EKG. He would not sign off on my surgery until I saw a cardiologist. I truly appreciate his caution, but I'm not going to lie .... I went into full-blown panic mode because 1) I might not be able to get my much needed surgery - and 2) I might have a heart problem! I called every cardiologist within a 30 mile radius of my NJ home - and every single one of them was booked solid for weeks! I was stressed, running out of time, and didn't know what to do. I was literally in tears with anxiety and worry. But somehow, I got lucky. A beautiful angel at Dr. Barry's practice took pity upon me and squeezed me in for an emergency appointment the same day I called! I am eternally grateful to Dr. Barry and his staff for making such an accomodation for me. Dr. B. ordered another EKG, listened to my heart, spent time talking to me in a kind, comforting, unrushed, non-condescensing way - and he ultimately gave me the all clear! It turns out my heart was fine. I was/am so relieved and grateful! Thank you Dr. Barry and staff. You are ALL rock stars! I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in the fall. (And BTW, my ACDF surgery went very well - though I can't wait to toss this collar of shame in the garbage can!) I'm truly indebted to you all. If anyone ever asks me if I know a good cardiologist, I won't hesitate to recommend Dr. Barry. To my fellow Central NJ/Jersey Shore people: I know some of us have an irrational NYC phobia and we tend to avoid NYC bridges and tunnels like The Plague, but Dr. Barry is worth crossing a big, bad, mean, expensive New York bridge for! I promise! Staten Island is actually quite lovely and is nothing like "the city".

Dr. Ryan Barry, an amazing doctor, I can not express myself enough with this team of doctors at the Staten Island University of Hospitals. I had been admitted to hospital with some strange chest pain and first via emergency been seen by Dr. Nicholas Zello whose patience, broad knowledge and attention to details, thanks to all that qualities Dr. Zello has I had been transferred to the Cardiology Department. Place is an amazing, clean tidy, staff very welcome and nice, then the head man Dr. Ryan Barry who showed unbelievable professionalism walking me through all the process of tests and all procedures. From bottom of my heart I really would like to say thank you and they deserve all the best. Doctors are blessed by God and they save life of God's best creatures. All good things you do to people May return back to you even more. Thank you all so much!

Dr Barry was so nice. He has a great bed side manner. You didn't feel rushed, he explained everything. When a test came back, he called right away. Thank you to his staff too. Over all everything was good.

Always have a positive experience when going to Dr Barry, first when you enter waiting room friendly staff and clean office. Waiting time is minimal and Doctor is friendly and thorough with diagnoses .
