I really loved Dr. Macarro! It's so rare to find a doctor who is patient, kind, understanding, and willing to listen. He always made time for me. He was the doctor who officially diagnosed my POTS (he can do the tilt table test), and he is very knowledgeable when it comes to this illness. Office staff is officiant and nurses are the sweetest.
Not a good cardiologist. He recommended my father get a pacemaker without even trying to diagnose the root cause issue. Turns out my father had AV nodal reentry which does not require a pacemaker. Patients beware!!
I wish every physician on this planet were as knowledveable, caring and competent as Dr. Maccaro. Although his professional responsibilities place many demands on his time, when he is with one of his patients, he is with them 100%.
I'd give him 10 stars. Informative, patient, can be hilarious, but for me, most important...he listens!
