Patient
I previously left I believe, two five star reviews, based upon my first two visits. Unfortunately, I have to rescind those ratings, and then instead of leave a three or even a 2 1/2 if I could. And it's a shame. I still think Dr. Neystat is an excellent neurologist, with a good bedside manner. Unfortunately, based upon recent experience, I cannot say the same for the staff. I don't know what's going on, as it was not like this before. I needed a refill on a medication, so I checked with CVS to see if it was eligible. There it stated. That they would contact The office to authorize the refill. A A few days later, I got a message from CVS telling me that they had made three attempts to contact the office, Leaving three messages, with absolutely no response. This prompted me to try, so I called the office. I think three times. Impossible to navigate Voice pumps, which only lead you in a circle telling you to go onto the website. So I did so, sending a message through their website portal. crickets. Nothing, nothing, nothing. Nothing I could do with elicit any kind of response whatsoever. So, at next opportunity, I got in the car and drove over there, where I spoke to what I believe was a office coordinator. I was told "we are very busy here". What???. Unacceptable! At that point, I was going to just cancel everything, but since I had an appointment already made for a week or so later, and as the person I was dealing with called CVS while I was there, I decided to keep the appointment Why it was easier for her to do at that moment with me standing there, as opposed to before with all the messages I left, I do not know. Fast-forward a week or so. I keep my appointment. I walk in and the office is somewhat crowded, but I only saw one name in front of mine when I signed in. I sat there for maybe 40 minutes, Until I asked how long it would be. I was told it would be another 45 minutes or so. Since I was there only for a follow up, with nothing pressing, and because I really kept the appointment to hopefully speak to Dr. Neystat personally about what was going on with her office, I decided I had had enough. I canceled the appointment and I left, and will not be coming back, unless I am convinced that the administration has been straightened out. I will find a new neurologist. Again, this is sad, and unnecessary, but also unacceptable.
