CareNow Urgent Care - Raytown

Came here with my partner as we were both sick. We'd been throwing up violently, nausea, fevers, couldn't hold anything down. The doctor told my partner he should go to the ER for appendicitis despite that it was clearly a virus we both had. He then told us he couldn't do anything for us, not even provide any nausea medication. "If I give you nausea medication you won't throw up the virus" yeah that's not how our bodies get rid of the virus by the way! An actual hospital got me nausea medication and treated me so... Won't be back to this location the male doctor doesn't know what he's doing. Crazy that this happens.

Everyone was real nice. My nurse practitioner and his MA made me feel comfortable. As if I had known them for years. 10/10 customer service and professionalism.

I checked in and it took an hour to been seen and get out. Idk if it could've gone faster, who know what work they behind closed doors. But I was miserable, couldn't breathe etc, and Misty at least let me swab for flu and and Covid and call me with results instead of keeping me there. I was told they couldn't do that, so she saved me misery of staying 30 more minutes and and getting home to lay down. Easy to pre- check in.

I had a very good experience at care now in raytown. The staff was great. I was there for a urine analysis. During checkin i had to go really bad. I had one patient in front of me. I arrived at 11:30 and was done at 12:30. No appointment. The staff were nice and very helpful.

The receptionist was kinda rude, was told to grab a mask, no problem. The doctor was extremely helpful. Within 30 minutes of leaving I started feeling feverish and developed a sore throat and a cough. I haven't been around anyone who is sick, but now I have cold!!! My chest hurts from the congestion and my nose is either stuffy or won't stop running. Now I'm sick on top of having a pulled muscle in my chest, it's hard to even breathe.
