Johns Hopkins Community Physicians

Went here my whole life and it was amazing until 5ish years ago. My primary doctor is no longer doing appointments, and it's hard to get an in person appointment. They made me move my in person appointment virtual due to Covid, then told me while I was in the virtual waiting room that since I'm out of state (10 minutes away!) they can't see me.

I will NOT be returning to this group. I do not go to the doctor for every little thing. If I do not NEED to go, I do not go. I needed to go for something recently and seeing I had not been seen in nearly 3 years, they are classifying me as a "new patient" and can't get in until January 31st. I'm DONE and this is just another reason, why I dis like going to the doctor. I would get better service from my veterinarian. This is the straw that broke the camels back. If I could give no stars, I would have.

Although, for the first time (due to vacations, etc.) it took a little longer to get an appointment with my personal physician, the care and attention I received was worth the wait (as always). I could have seen another physician much sooner if necessary. The entire staff - administrative, nursing, and professional - are absolutely first rate. I was seen on time (actually, early) by the nursing staff and then by my physician. Everyone was friendly and professional, and they treated me with the utmost respect. I love this practice! My blood pressure actually goes down when I go to the doctor!

My son has been going here for almost three years now. We have had to get tubes in his ears. We have had to address more serious issues as well. I have now started to go here myself. Along with my husband. My son and I have Richard Haupt. We love him. He is wonderful with my wild red-head! Yesterday was my first appointment with him. I have to say I will not see anyone else. Richard is very thorough. Listens to you. Makes you feel like your part of the team effort to help you! Great personality. My husband sees another doctor there but he will be switching to Richard as well.

After going to this practice for years my adult son was wiped off the patient list because he hasn't been in 3 years. Young people don't go to the doctor as often. His insurance card lists them as PCP, but when he called to make an appointment he was told he's no longer a patient, and they're not accepting new patients. I'm so mad! I'm having my entire family change doctors. When you need them they're not there. The care is subpar. Honestly, there's only 1 doctor left I even care for. Be warned and find a different practice. So disappointing
