Doctors Hospital of Augusta

I just want to say thank you to everyone that had a hand in the birth of my baby girl. From cafeteria staff, clean up crew, nurses, and doctors. You all were amazing. I had my first child and this hospital made it the best experience. I literally can't thank you all enough.

It was a bit difficult to find parking and wait time was over 2 hours but the staff were very friendly and caring. I felt heard and safe in their care. Update: I had surgery there in the wound/burn unit and all of the folks taking care of me were wonderful. The surgeon did an amazing job and I really appreciate it more than he knows. I wanted to point out the extraordinary care I've received from Patricia at intake more than once. She makes us feel like family and calms my anxiety. She is so very sweet. Thank you to everyone at Doctor's Hospital for the excellent care I've received since relocating from the West Coast this month (11/2025). You are all why they call it Health CARE and you're appreciated.

Had great service! Pretty much in and out. Second degree burn healing well with the ointments they gave me with instructions to keep it clean. They gave me bandages to help me get through atleast 3 days. Silicone bandages work great for me. I have sensitive skin.

I recently had major surgery. The check in and pre-surgery experience was good. When I woke up in recovery, they called someone to bring me to my room. The staff failed to notify my husband that I was moved to a room. He sat waiting in the surgical waiting room for 3 hours after surgery was done and I was already in my room. I asked 4 times if they had called my husband as I couldn't believe he wouldn't come right away. They said "I'm sure someone called him. He's probably just busy." Excuse me? He was waiting to come check on me and then go pick up our son. They never called him. They instead handed me a phone and told me to call him myself. That phone was broken. They brought me a new phone, I called him, and he came right away. He had been waiting for the call the whole time. They also taped my catheter to my leg so it was kinked. I told the nurse it was extremely uncomfortable and hurt, but she said that's what it was supposed to feel like, and never checked it. I only saw the day nurse 2 times in 6 hours, and she just popped in and out. The night nurse was AMAZING, and she's the only reason for the two stars. She came every 2 hours on the dot, explained everything to me, took me seriously, fixed my catheter that she found kinked and backed up providing immediate relief, talked to me and treated me like a human. Grateful to nurse Brandi for providing kind and supportive care. After this experience, I would never choose Doctors Hospital.

Everyone was terrific!! Leah from pre registration came and checked on me the day of my procedure and was just so kind. I had a wonderful nurse Bonnie the day of the procedure so very sweet. These two made my procedure way better. Thank you so much. The anesthesiologist very attentive as well.
