Top notch cardiologist, and a very caring person. Dr. Tavakol cares personally for each of his patients, and not just in a superficial way. For instance he asked about my lifelong struggle with weight problems and designed a treatment plan that has helped me lose 30 pounds so far (a lot more to go). He didn't have to do that, he could have just referred me to a weight loss specialist.
After a pacemaker implant he helped reduce my fears and assure me of his support, and also the expert team standing behind him, answering questions and making sure there was effective follow-up and monitoring.
I could go on for pages, but all you have to really know is that this Doctor is at the top of his field, he demands his staff be at the top of their's, and it shows in every important way.

I am a fan of Dr. Tavakol. He is knowledgeable and gives information straightforward always. His bedside manner is cool and collected but WILL hold you accountable if you aren't following the treatment plan. (Which I've never questioned) I have no issues with my blood pressure meds and I see once a year. Not going anywhere.

Dr. Tavakol and his staff are great. The only issue I see with the office is that everytime I call in I have to press 2 to leave a message and someone usually calls me back within a couple of hours. I think Jupiter Hospital should provide another staff person to answer the phone at the PGA office.
