Patient
This review is from my mom's experience with Cardiology Partners (Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens locations as the staff is the same at those locations). She is a patient of Dr. Baldari and has had the worst experience with the office staff and office management. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. When she has had doctor visit appointments to see Dr. Baldari, she would show up to her appointment and be seen by another doctor. This was NEVER relayed to her in advance. They would never let her know WHY her doctor couldn't see her in advance for her to make the decision whether or not she wanted to be seen by another doctor, based on her urgency. Their office allows all doctors to be up to date with all patients' information, HOWEVER, it should be up to the patient whether or not they want to be seen by another provider. As someone who used to work in a medical office, I FULLY agree that patients should be the ones to make the decision of what provider sees them. (my personal opinion & my mom's) She scheduled a procedure to be done in the PBG location and when she was to getting prepped, the nurse/technician had the wrong patient folder. I personally had gone with my mom to the procedure and immediately asked to double check that she got the right folder with the right information for this procedure. After the procedure, she had been in a lot of pain and called to be seen by Dr. Baldari immediately. She scheduled an appointment and when she arrived, she was told the Baldari was on "vacation." She was never advised in advance that he wasn't there. When she was told the he wasn't there, she rescheduled to another date. When she arrived to her rescheduled appointment for the intense pains she was having in her legs, she was told AGAIN that Baldari was on "vacation." She was seen by PA or NP (not sure which one) and they didn't even address her leg pain. All they did was check her heart. Nothing ever came from that appointment. Then, my mom had me call the PBG location to schedule another appointment, but they didn't answer at all. I ended up going to their location and they were closed even though it was 4pm and they close at 5pm. I called the next day and I explained the issue my mom was going through with the staff and they said the manager would call me. She tried to tell me that the appointments my mom scheduled were "follow-up" appointments, which was BS. I was with my mom when she tried to schedule these appointments and she explicitly stated that she was in pain and needed to be seen by HER doctor, Dr. Baldari. The manager was able to schedule an appt for her with Baldari the next day after her and I spoke. He saw her, FINALLY, and had her schedule a sonogram for today. The front staff called her this morning to CANCEL, not reschedule, her sonogram appointment. They said the person that does them is sick. How do you not have other techs that can do this? Or at least reschedule, but NOT cancel an important test to see what is going on with her leg after her procedure. She has finally given up on trying to reschedule more appointments. The staff are incompetent and don't understand what customer service means.
