I cannot say i am surprised to see this office has an average Google review rating of 2.8 stars, far below average. I used to see Dr. Eakin at this office. When I heard she no longer worked here, I asked the staff where Dr. Eakin was practicing. They told me "she was NOT seeing patients anymore; she was doing hospital rounds at Bayhealth". They lied to me! They wanted me to make an appointment with one of their other doctors. I told them I did not want to see one of the other doctors. I wanted to follow up with my cardiologist, Dr. Eakin, who I had been seeing for years. I finally heard where she was on the radio about a year later. She works at Bayhealth Cardiovascular Care (intended for anyone looking to find out where she is now. Due to Delaware Cardiovascular Associates lying about Dr. Eakin's new practice location, I missed over a year of continuity of care with Dr. Eakin and my other cardiologist at University of Pennsylvania. So happy to finally be back with her. Needless to say, I came to this office to get my records transferred. I stood at the appointment check-in window for 10-12 minutes before the person at the testing check-in window acknowledged me. She gave me the form to fill out and said to bring it back up when I was done. When I was finished, I stood by her window for quite some time and finally moved to the appointment check-in line. The person who gave me the form finally called me back to her window. I explained I had an appointment with Dr. Eakin in 2 days, and she never received any records of mine, and asked if they could send over for my appointment 2 days later JUST TWO (2) MOST RECENT OFFICE NOTES. She went to check with the person who does medical records and I was told it takes 7-10 days to fax 2 notes. I did not find any staff member here to be cheerful or happy to help. In fact it was totally opposite from Dr. Eakin's new office. I went up to stand in line and was checked in and done in about 2 minutes. I told the staff at Dr. Eakin's new office how efficient, quick, and what a great personality they all had. What a nice change. I never had that type of service at Delaware Cardiovascular Associates. So glad I'm finally where I need to be. I am stunned that an office would be so mad at a doctor for leaving that they would actually hinder a patient's continuity of care. How rude!

Walked in perfectly fine in April and walked out with an upper arm and shoulder injury from an inept person pumping up the blood pressure cuff too much. I counted 13x more after my arm started to hurt. Was treated like I was a complainer. It's July and have been in constant pain since with no relief. Scheduled an appt with an orthopedic doctor but have to wait a while to get in to see him since he is booked up. Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Not the only problem I had here. My primary has switched me to another cardio practice.

Doctor Shannon is a dedicated, compassionate, caring, efficient, detail oriented, & thorough doctor. She goes out of her way to take care of her patients. Anytime I have had concerning symptoms and I call the office she takes care of me. She truly cares about those she treats. My 3 star review comes from the front desk office staff. I have encountered rude staff at this location on more than one occasion. Today, I had scheduled a 7AM test and was in the parking lot just before 7 ie RIGHT ON TIME. I walk into the office and the lights are out and the door is locked. There's a ring door bell camera on the door of the office which btw is weird but that can verify. I walked up stairs where they actually do the testing and those lights were out and the door was also locked. I call the office (7:05 at this point per my call log) to be greeted by the after hours calling staff. She explains that she has no idea how I would have an appointment at 7AM since the office doesn't open until 8AM. States she is going to send a message to the office. Needless to say I end up staying until just before 8AM when I finally see the lights on. I go in to inquire and the man at the desk says "I'm sorry but you missed your appointment." I explain the situation and he says "when I got here I opened the doors and there were no cars in the parking lot." I also told him I spoke to the after hours call staff and they said they would send a message. He said "I don't know who that is but I didn't get any messages." Too bad there were a few cars parked on the side of the building next to me. It's very unprofessional for an employee to practically call a patient a liar indirectly. There's a camera in the parking lot that can verify my story. The employee that sits behind the man at the desk continued to back him up with no apologies, no solution and just continued excuses of all the reasons why I couldn't have been there when I said I was. Even if hypothetically everything I am saying is untrue ( it can be verified to be true) why would NO ONE call to see where I was? Why would patients be allow in the office with no lights? Why would employees be working with no lights on? Etc etc So you mean to tell me employees got paid this morning to do nothing? I highly doubt this. All I wanted from this scenario was an apology and a solution on what we could do to fix it. Instead I was indirectly called a liar. I promise there would be no reason for me to lie about sitting in a parking lot. I gain zero besides aggravation. This is a cardiovascular office meant to treat high blood pressure not make it worse.

One of my favorite and best doctors. I have never experienced any of the issues that have been mentioned on here. The staff is friendly and not rude, very helpful. Never a long wait. The one issue is their phone system but that is nothing new with phone systems in my opinion.

I saw Shannon Cullin, and she was absolutely wonderful. However, the staff in the office are very rude, and their scheduling is completely unreliable. First instance I encountered, I had taken a day off of work for a test, arrived to check in, and was told that someone left a message for me that they had to cancel it. I told them I had never received a message, and was told very aggressively that a message was left for me to call and reschedule. I had a follow up appointment for another test I had done, and did receive a call that it needed to be rescheduled. I returned the call and rescheduled the appointment. I showed up to check in for my scheduled appointment and was met with being told I was not scheduled, and it was only in my chart that they had called me to reschedule. I told them that I had, and this was the appointment I was given, and I was having problems with my heart. They offered to schedule me to be seen in yet another 2 weeks (a month and a half from when I was supposed to be followed up with) to which I declined, and politely told them I would find another provider. It's a shame as Shannon was truly someone I felt cared about what was going on with me, but the lack of care I was able to actually get left me with no other choice than to find someone else.
