Conti Marisa DO

I came to Dr Conti after my prior PCP retired, and I am very pleased. I am a grouchy old fart (will be 78 in 2025) so not easy to please. Dr Conti listens, explains, asks pertinent questions, has patience, and has a good sense of humor. If I could give 6 stars, I would. I have been going to the same Internal Medicine office for about 10 years now, and as I told the staff recently, I have never had a bad experience (but I told them not to take that as a challenge). Courteous, efficient, patient, and competent. Your life could depend on your health providers - choose wisely - read the reviews like mine of those who have 'been around'.

We love Dr. Conti, but the office is too large. It is impossible to get an appointment and I spend more time at walk in places than I have at my own drs office. I made a new patient appointment for my daughter and they called the same day to confirm, left no message, and when I didn't answer cancelled the appointment that we had waited 6 months for. Dr. Conti is wonderful, but the office is over run.

I love Dr Conti but they don't appreciate me. I paid my bill diligently for the past 10 years. My parents and sister were paitients until they died. I visited in 2017 and there was no mention of a bill. But 3 months later they say I owe and cant be seen until I pay. So I paid the 33.00 and they said We don't want you anymore. Well I think it may be a blessing in disguise. I won't refer you or speak well of this group ever again.

I was referred to dr conti and told she was a wonderful doctor and she would take care of my family. I have seen her at least 3 times in person and every time she was rushing you out and made sure you were done in 10 minutes. If this is the type of doctor you want then go ahead you will leave feeling ripped off and definitely feeling like you made a mistake. They run a business not a family practice and I promise you will feel it as one of there patients. Today it is ragweed season and I tend to get allergies that turns into bronchitis, this happens every year, this year I ask my family doctor for help and I was told,by the nurse, robatussin and a covid test. They will not see me, the doctor doesn't return calls she had nurses call me(not a doctor). Dr Conti refused to call in a prescription for my congestion and an antibiotic for the bronchitis. Now after spending all morning waiting for my family practice to help, I now will be going to a walk in clinic. I strongly advise patients to do your homework because going to Dr Marisa Conti has definitely impacted my health(not in a good way) If you want a doctor to take care of your family than this isn't it. Hopefully I will save a couple patients from dealing with this nonsense. If you do decide to go here then get ready to have 40 doctors because if it is going to take more than 5 minutes you getting referred somewhere else and then you get to pay twice. You have been warned!!! Update: within 1 hour I wrote this review and the walk in clinic has already taking me in and got my prescriptions. In the end if I just went to the walk in first I would've save 2 hours of my time and 2 hours of frustration. Internal Medicine of Dover is awful and again you been warned! 2nd update 9/29/20 Less than 1 week after posting this review they have certified mail to tell me they will no longer provide care to me after 10/21/20. They couldn't give you an appointment without making you wait 3 weeks but post a review and they cut you off. I pray everyone reads this because this is not a family practice who will care for your family. All this because ragweed season had me congested and I needed my yearly medicine I always used. Instead a whole day of fighting with nurses ( never the doctor ) and going to a medical express to get my stuff done. Because a doctor ordered the covid test I had negative covid, negative strep, negative flu, thanks Internal Medicine of Dover, I tested positive for sinusitis and allergies. Thanks for the extra stress I really dont need in 2020. Thanks for taking care of my families needs. Good luck with your next patients.

Dr. Conti is one of the finest, most professional ,personable and concerning family doctors I have had the pleasure of being her patient over the last 7 years.
