Dr Ludington is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate, and she listens to questions carefully while providing clear responses. My first experience with her was about seven years ago, and she very likely saved my life by quickly recognizing the seriousness of my symptoms, which were not the classic chest pain, etc. I had been to another doctor who was not recognizing how serious my situation was, so I did some quick online research and decided to call Dr Ludington. Dr. Ludington acted quickly to bring me in to run tests, and based on the test results got me scheduled with a highly regarded surgeon to clear what turned out to be a nearly complete blockage of a coronary artery. I avoided a heart attack and I am completely healthy now and have an annual visit with Dr Ludington. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Ludington goes above and beyond for her patients She and her staff chose to do all of the paperwork necessary to make her and North Coast Cardiology the first small office instead of a giant system to become a vaccine provider. The process for both vaccines was easy and fast. She has been my cardiologist sine 2008. She is not only and excellent cardiologist but makes it a pleasure to have office visits with her. She deeply cares about her patients and their lives.

Katherine Ludington, MD is definitely one of the top cardiologists in the San Diego area. She has been treating a member of my family for many years now and her diagnostic skills and treatment regiment are outstanding. Without going into private details, in our case, she has reversed several life-threatening situations and is always spot-on prescribing medications and adjusting dosages in a fairly complex case. Her staff, nurses and technicians at the Northcoast Cardiology office are always very professional and knowledgeable. Over several years there was not a single situation that would warrant anything less than an outstanding praise for Dr. Ludington or her staff. I definitely would recommend Dr. Ludington to anyone who needs a Cardiologist for a long-term treatment, first, second or third opinion.

I am so thankful to have Dr. Ludington and staff taking care of me and my husband. She quickly diagnosed my husband with high cholesterol and a blockage in his main artery to his brain, which could have lead to a stroke. I love how thorough she is! And she is kind and truly cares. She even stresses exercise, healthy diet and supplements instead of just pushing medications. Her nurse practitioner is also wonderful and very warm and caring. I am very pleased to have Dr L in Encinitas to help my family out! I have recommended her to all my neighbors and friends.

I can't thank Dr. Ludington and staff enough for providing the Covid 19 vaccine to her patients! We were notified of availability and were able to easily schedule and receive both doses in her office. Hearing the difficulties so many friends have had getting the vaccine it was truly a blessing to be able to do this so easily. I have always had the best of treatment and care at North Coast Cardiologist. Thank you!
