I went to see Dr. Maria Jan for a physical and I asked her about some spots in my skin, she gave me a diagnosis and told me that this goes away in time and that it is normal in women my age... I told her that just to make sure I would like an expert opinion from a dermatologist she said it wasn't necessary. Before I left the office that day I asked the nurse to remind her that I still want the letter of recommendation. One week passes by and the spots on my skin are darker and I have more... I sent an E-mail over patient portal requesting a recommendation and she responded back that a dermatologist isn't indicated at the moment. I requested again for the letter and still have no response 3 weeks post. I am a new patient of hers so I Don't have that much experience but this shouldn't cost her anything to refer me to a specialist for me to get peace of mind and maybe a treatment.

Dr. Samuel Oregel is the most attentive doctor I've ever had. He's got terrific bedside manor and is incredibly knowledgeable in his field of expertise. One of his nurses, Jenny, is very passionate about her work and has a great personality, which makes me feel very supported when going in for an appointment. I am incredibly grateful to both Jenny and Dr. Oregel for the compassion, concern, and support that they showed me when I was going through a particularly difficult time in my life. After losing our GP of 20 years, we were at a loss in choosing a new one. We now thank our stars for having found Dr. Maria Jan. In an age of doctors who speed-talk through appointments in order to spend the minimum amount of time with you, it's beyond refreshing to find Dr. Jan who is unhurried, listens patiently, asks all the right questions, and invariably has the right answers. What's more, she goes above and beyond the call of duty. In a recent series of emergency mishaps, Dr. Jan was called upon for help. Time was of the essence. She acted swiftly, made all the necessary calls, had to make demands on our behalf, and thanks to her, we received the care we needed. If only she could be cloned, the medical world would get better reviews.

My daughter, just moved to the area, looking for a doctor and Providence medical group won't allow your first visit to be your annual physical. You need to have something wrong with you to see them on the first visit. With no reasonable explanation as to why that is.

Every time I call, no one picks up the phone. One day their phone had a busy signal the entire day.Turns out they were having phone trouble. It seem that they are having a phone trouble every day as no one picks up the phone nordo they return the messages. I was on hold for 10 minutes to just make an appointment and still no one came on the phone. I had to hang up as I had to get back to work. It is beyong frustrating to reach this office. I am in the process of changing the medical group and doctors here.
