Dr. Kumar has seen my son off and on since 2016 and has been wonderful! He listens to what is going on and helps my son see the reasoning behind his feelings. He does administer medication and I honestly appreciate that. He even gave us his cell phone in case we need him during off hours in which we did. I highly recommend Dr. Kumar!
I have been seeing Dr. Kumar for over 20 years. He has been nothing but a blessing to our family since the inception of our relationships with him and throughout the years. He has treated me respect and understanding, he LISTENS to what YOUR input is and takes that into consideration when treating you. It's a very different thing to be worked with than talked at. He and Peggy are phenomenal and I recommend them to anyone!
Dr. Kumar came highly recommended as THE doctor to work with kids and teens for proper medications and maintenance. He has exceeded all expectations because he is not only gifted in medical and pharmaceutical knowledge & works well with kids and teens, but in addition Dr. Kumar cares for the families with a personal touch rarely seen. His office is meticulously and respectfully run by Peggy, so that there is never a misunderstanding or conflict. We are happy.
Although many Psychiatrists are often catagorized as 'pill pushers' - I genuinely believe that Dr. Kumar is very selective and cautious in his suggestions for medication. He is able to take adequate (and more) time (many don't) to discuss what is currently going on in my life and re-evaluates anything I might be taking. Dr. Kumar is very thoughtful, caring and efficient. He runs very close to on time. His office assistant Peggy is very accommodating and sweet. I highly recommend him as a wonderful and very qualified doctor.
Excellent! One of the best doctors hands down. It is extremely difficult to find a doctor you can become comfortable not just initially but for many years. Dr. Rajiv is extremely attentive and it's clear he genuinely cares. I would recommend him to all of my family or friends. It's great to find a doctor who's willing to listen instead of only instruct. When you have a doctor you would almost hope that they would treat you as if they were family or help you as such as well and I certainly get that feeling when ever I meet with "Doc".
