Dr. Shammo is a very knowledgeable cardiologist. Watertown Regional Medical Center is fortunate to have him on their staff. My husband received excellent care from him. Unfortunately my one star is based on the care my husband received from Dr. Volkert. Dr. Volkert had zero ability to communicate with us when my husband suffered a serious complication during a cardiac cath. We had to stop him from leaving the unit so we could find out what happened. He doesn't follow or respect the rules of consent. Our experience with him was awful.

Dr Iqbal is an amazing cardiologist and has an awesome bedside manner however his support staff including nurses and front desk associates are terrible. Every time I call I get an attitude and pushback from these girls instead of solutions and a sense of urgency. I very much enjoy Dr Iqbal but will not be returning here anymore due to his nasty staff.
