If zero stars were an option I would choose it. READ the OTHER REVIEWS. IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE GO ELSEWHERE, GO STRAIGHT TO THE ER, OR WAIT TO SEE YOUR PHYSICIAN OR A SPECIALIST. Like most I only review when something is wonderful or terrible. This Urgent Care Clinic is terrible. The intake staff are fine, all admin are fine, but as noted in several other reviews the cost is outrageous and the care is minimal at best. We have been in for very different reasons and left with NO treatment each time. They will run tests, unnecessarily and repeatedly, and charge out-of-network fees for a practitioner (in their in-network facility), but in my experience they will not CARE or TREAT. Only CHARGE. Even if you return to the Emergency Room associated with the clinic, you will be charged again for EVERY TEST, DIAGNOSIS, AND FINALLY TREATMENT. Super frustrating and avoidable. Don't make our mistakes.

The best hospital experience I have had, by far. The campus is inviting and well-maintained. It doesn't even smell like a hospital. The staff is very helpful and friendly, from the admissions folks to the surgeons. Dr. Husak and Dr. Kramer did an excellent job communicating with my father and treating his cancer. The nursing staff was very attentive, patient, and compassionate. One nurse even sat with my father throughout the night to comfort him. He told me "That woman saved my life." I trust the entire team with the life of my family. There is no higher praise I can offer.

I had a single skin tag removed using cryotherapy(frozen with liquid nitrogen).the procedure took about 20 minutes maximum, 3 times frozen about 2 minutes apart. I received a bill 3 weeks later for a bit over $1000.00, . $800 ish for the procedure and $263 office visit. My Insurance paid around $400 and my out of pocket was $598. This is outrageous! Called and talked to billing department 2 different times and they said that is the correct amount, I really am not happy with that ridiculous amount for the services! I will not be going there again unless I get a price for anything, Rice lake location.

I am giving 5 starts for the providers and the Ladysmith location. I have had good experiences with the nurse practitioners in urgent care. I an happy with my primarily physician Amber Hall. Ernest Hall is an amazing provider. I enjoy his straight to the facts approach and while listening to all of my patient concerns. Kathy his medical assistant is the best! Ernest educates without being condescending. I have highly recommend and will continue recommend him as a mental health provider. The teleaheth appointments are extremely convenient. Due to living 40 minutes away from Ladysmith. The team at Ladysmith is fantastic. I will continue to drive there over the Rice Lake facility. Being new to the area I was told do not go to Marshfield...but they are in network. My issue is the Business office and the receptionist at the Rice Lake location. They were not informative with my questions. There was a lot of push back to use the app. I used MyChart at my old clinic. I just wanted to talk to an actual person or have a phone call. (I would give them maybe 1 star) With all of that said. Thankfully the providers are wonderful. Otherwise I would have gone back to my HealthPartners clinic.

Patient

My husband has gone to them many times for his cough and they still won't help him. It's like they don't care anymore. He's had his cough for as long as I've known him which is about 14+ years. They keep telling him he's just congested but it's a bunch of bs cause how can someone be congested for 14yrs straight!?!! Plus very time he coughs, the muscle between his shoulder and neck hurt every-time he coughs and now it's gotten to the point where he sounds like he's going to cough up blood or something else and it's been making him close to throwing up. He's addressed this to the staff and even the walk in doctor to only be told something else and treated like his health means nothing and is worth nothing. I work nights so I can't be with him for his appointments. They need to start treating people like human beings and not like someone who is not worth their time. People skills need to be worked on BIG TIME.
