About Froedtert South Matthew Martini, FNP-C, joined Intermountain Health to be a part of an organization that values patients' time and fosters a learning environment for its providers. A Las Vegas native, Matthew started his medical career working in an ambulance as an EMT. He decided to go to school and earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Touro University, Nevada, after which he worked as a nurse in the emergency department and the Cardiac Cath Lab. Matthew returned to school and graduated with his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University.

Dr. Martini took charge of my case while I was in the emergency room. He was tenacious in his inquiry as to the causal factors as to my situation and decisive once I was diagnosed. I owe a great deal to him. Had a very positive outcome. I appreciated the care he gave me.
My first visitation and it was a very good experience. The office and medical assistant were very friendly and professional. When you see a heart specialist it's nice to be put at ease. Dr Martini had a solid reputation before I met him and he certainly didn't disappoint. He has a calm easy going personality and truly seems to care about your thoughts and feelings.
Such an amazing doctor and amazing staff. Truly a blessing my father unexpectedly ended in Dr. Martini's care after his cardiologist retired. Doctor listened to smallest of concerns and did not make light of it. He ordered a test and procedure that lead to discovery of a major issue in a timely manner to be able to react and correct as much as possible safely. I truly appreciate Dr. Martini's empathy and care in handling his patient's health as if he were caring for his own parent. God bless him for that. All of staff is truly genuinely kind and caring. Nurse Rachel has been incredible in communication for all, from appts to paperwork needed. Truly is on top of all! It is greatly appreciated to see her and entire team give a peace of mind that your family member's health is in good hands! Thank you all! Recommend to anyone in search of a new cardiologist for self or family member. I am sure anyone would immediately identify a caring knowledgeable team as we did!
After the initial visit, I would say Dr. Martini has created a positive impression. He listens to and addresses what you have said. He is abreast with current research, and, by that, I mean research released within 6 months.
Dr. Martini was very professional and explained everything to me. I like his step by step treatment plan and his understanding of everything I'm going through. A very kind and compassionate physician. Great staff too!
