Dr Raikar performed my open heart valve replacement surgery and did a great job! He also has a great bedside manner. He took time to talk with my family during my time in the ICU. You don't need to go to Milwaukee, because we have a great heart surgeon in Pleasant Prairie!! Highly recommend!
My visit with Dr Raikar to discuss my upcoming surgery was also attended by my son. Dr Raikar took the time to make sure we totally understood the procedure, risks, time needed to stay at Froederdt after the surgery, etc. I feel very confident with Dr Raikar doing the surgery!

My name is Dr. James Rosso. I brought my father to see Dr. Raikar and his staff. The front desk while checking was very professional and helpful. Next I met a nurse and the PA working with Dr. Raikar. They were both very pleasant and helpful. My brother, sister, to and father all saw Dr. Raiker today. I was very pleased and impressed with Dr. Raiker. He went over my fathers scan for his blocked carotid, surgical treatments and possible risks, and post-operative care. Dr. Raikar took his time and explained everything to us in detail and in language that we totally understood!! I could tell right away that Dr. Raikar and his staff were there to provided the best treatment for my father. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Raiker and his staff. They were all down to earth and only wanted the best for my father. I have been a physicianin Podiatric Surgery and Medicine for over 20 years and I do give praise like this just to any physician.
