I received brain surgery here in October & from my initial check-in at the surgical building all the way up to my discharge was outstanding. The ladies who checked me in for surgery were very welcoming & kind to myself & my support crew. My neurosurgeon (Dr. Hirad Hedayat) & his team are always remarkable, caring, & patient- in the office, in surgery, & everything in between. I recovered in the ICU for a few days & all of the staff were attentive, comforting, & on top of my care- I never felt forgotten & I was constantly communicated with by someone on my team about my plan of care. Excellent quality of care for myself & my visitors was provided here, especially by RN Val & RN Elissa. Upon discharge I felt confident & knowledgeable about what I was doing & I was provided with all the material needed to reference at home if something was forgotten. A very scary & uneasy time for me was met with amazing care & I'm grateful for everyone who was a part of my care team. I very much recommend medical care here.

10/10 - Outstanding Care at St. Catherine's Hospital
I've been a patient here for 6 days due to a broken shoulder blade and a severe leg injury where part of my shin bone broke off and required a rod to be placed. This is actually the first time I've ever been admitted to a hospital as a patient, and I have to say, St. Catherine's has set the bar incredibly high.
Every staff member I've encountered has been genuinely kind, attentive, and caring. They keep everything neat and organized, and they've gone out of their way to make sure I'm comfortable and informed every step of the way. Their compassion made a painful situation a lot easier to deal with.
Highly recommend - 10/10 experience.

NP Kim listened very well. She showed genuine concern and followed through ordering the needed tests to help diagnose the cause of my husband's symptoms. I'm his legal & medical PoA due to his severe Alzheimers. She spoke to us both with respect & appreciation that my husband couldn't recall the episodes of gastric sickness. She even respectively asked him if it was ok with her speaking to me. He said yes & she proceeded to clarify and document what was going on that led us to seeing the Gastroentriology Specialists. She had multiple roles to play that day & did so with precision & compassion. I highly recommend her for anyone's gastrointestinal concerns.

If you are prescribed a medication by your doctor and have adverse effects to it and you call a nurse who urges you to go to the emergency room and you end up here they'll treat you like a drug addict but you won't know it, because you're not a drug addict, until you tell people about your horrific experience and they inform you that you were in fact being treated like a drug addict. If you're interested in getting pricked by a phlebotomist who not only fails three times but leaves you in excruciating pain then says "oh well I tried" before leaving this is the place to go!

Went to lab for blood draw and urine sample for a family member. Blood draw fine. Urine sample needed to be taken by cath which they do not do. Fine, brought my own. Asked for packet of lubricant. They don't have any. Asked if they would get some from ER? NO. Nurses Station? NO Ambulatory? NO. What a lazy group of ladies. They would rather play on their phones then try to help someone with an easy ask. Thankfully, I myself was able to obtain some from a different department at the hospital. Asked if I had somewhere I could lay him down instead of cath-ing in wheelchair. They said NO. They put us in a bathroom that allowed us a bit of privacy to lay the wheelchair back. Still cramped quarters and not ideal and could not close the door. Thankfully, a lovely person from a different department was able to help and hold container while I cath'd instead of having to use the bathroom floor. Be better Froedtert Phlebotomy!
