Pristine kitchen beautiful presentation, very welcoming and the flow of how it feels a line would work is empowering. Well mapped out and kitchens great but staff on the other hand...,...jk

Terrible care. Discharge of a patient with brain bleed and confusion doesn't talk to family but to the patient whose cognizant skills is around a toddler. Would never recommend this facility to my worst enemy. Awful, nonprofessional and care very substandard. Never again. Plus had to take patient to another facility for improvement of care and stability. Thank God we have a review team for poor patient care and review of patient chart. This will be reviewed

I have had many family members be in this hospital, and can honestly say that this is one of the best there is around this area. The most recent loved one was actually my husband. Back in March of this year, he started developing severe, debilitating pain in his abdomen on his right side. We made the unfortunate mistake of going to another hospital in the area that falsely diagnosed him with something else, and they did absolutely nothing but pump him full of morphine and play guessing games for months. Never did any scans that would actually see the problem. However, when his symptoms returned in July, I brought him here to Theda immediately. Dr. Jacob Minor is truly a hero, and we owe him my husband's life. He found an abscess near my husband's pancreas that would have killed him if it would have exploded. He found this in 2 days, something the other place couldn't figure out in months. He referred us to another wonderful doctor, Dr. John Bosco at Aurora who successfully removed the abscess and saved my husband. Dr. Minor was also able to connect my husband's reoccurring pancreas issues to his gallbladder, and removed that for him as well. Thank you Doctor Minor, and the very caring staff at Theda! You all saved my husband and we could not be more grateful!

I am extremely impressed with how amazing all the staff have been at this facility. The amount of kindness, respect and patience I have received from all the staff is next level. A extra special thank you to Meg in the surgery center. She is the best nurse I have ever had, I get so nervous on my procedure days and when I have her getting me ready for my procedure it helps so much and I feel much more calm. She does her job with so much confidence and a smile on her face. I am so grateful for all the staff, there are so many and unfortunately I can't remember everyone's name and I don't want anyone to feel left out so again thank you to all nursing staff, front desk receptionists, Dr. Bayer, the anesthesiologists, and whoever else I may be forgetting. Also a huge thank you to all staff from 4 south, especially Jenny the behavioral health tech, she is so kind and caring. Jenny was a beacon of light during some of the darkest times and I will forever be grateful for her compassion. She took time to talk with me when I needed someone, encouraged me to keep fighting, and she even picked out a book that she thought I would benefit from reading, that is how much she goes the extra mile. I hope that whoever at ThedaCare looks over these reviews can relay these recognitions to the departments and individual people listed because they deserve to know how big of an impact they have made!

I was left in recovery after surgery and ignored for 2 1/2 hrs. Could get help to go the the bathroom. In my room no one from surgery team checked on me until I was ready to be discharged. The nurses were very slow and helping me and often said they were going to get something I need and never got it .I could go on but I would never go back to this hospital. Very poor care and attitudes. I felt like it was neglect because I'm an old man and my care was not as important.
