I saw nurse practitioner Ashley Crowe and she was extremely rude. Gave me attitude when I asked her to simplify what my options were treatment wise and said "or we can just do nothing" as an option. If you're gonna be rude to your patients don't bother being a nurse/doctor. We come to these places for help.. she did put me on a med I wanted BUT otherwise was rude to me and I was super uncomfortable.
Had a Dr. name Brandon something... never had him before. Was trying to take out my Nexplanon birth control. Semi professional during the process of it. Made very to little no eye contact, did not talk me through the process to let me know what was going to happen next when trying to take out the birth control, the last step, did minimal cleaning to the open, wound came home to still having stains by the area, & barely had medical tape (1 extremely small skinny strand). I was hoping for some aftercare instructions, but I forgot as I was nervous about this procedure. This process was very different from when I got it inserted. I was nervous & upset that I was treated like this. Hope for better experiences.
Only good experiences here. Never have had to wait for more than a few minutes for my PCP appointments
I have been having issues getting my prescriptions refilled. They cannot be refilled until the day before and the pharmacy sends out a reminder to them and it takes them sometimes almost a week to give the ok to refill it. Meanwhile I am out of medication for that time because I cannot request the refill until the day before I am out. You cannot talk to a person about this, only leave a message on the machine. It's really frustrating as a patient to be out of medication. I feel there is a breakdown in communication all of a sudden. I am almost ready to leave Thedacare completely and I really like my provider. Please get it together. The patients are the ones that are suffering from this lack of communication!
The good - Working with my psychologist at this location was a great experience. Coming in for a general checkup was quick and easy. The bad - Medication refills take forever to get approved. Sometimes a week plus after requesting. You can't call this place without waiting a minimum of 10-15 minutes every single time before even getting through. I've waited 20+ minutes too.
