About Dr. T. Keith Duncan, MD

I view my relationship with my patients as a partnership. It is my duty to inform them of all the relevant facts and alternatives so that together we can come up with the best plan. To me, the best approach to care starts with genuine, one-on-one interaction between the patient and provider. We need to be able to talk things through and have open communication that involves both of us in the decision-making process. The ultimate goal is to better your health so you can keep enjoying life to the fullest.

very rude. Made comments to my spouse with chronic conditions that limit mobility that he needs to lose weight at every appointment. Refuses to fill out paperwork and does not tell you until you call and demand updates. Pick another doctor

I saw Dr Duncan for over a year as he was one of the few doctors who would work with the medications I have. To his credit, he is a good clinician, however his people skills, prejudices, and empathy leave much to be desired. In my first visit he made a point to mention my weight and ask what I was doing to lose. I told him that I was too tired to excercise, but tried when I had the energy. In addition my diet wasn't a contributor. Each visit he made a point to mention my weight but offered no suggestions other than weight can make you tired... These visits werew every 2 to 3 weeks for testing or on the threat of not renewing my medication. I wrote him a few very pointed notes through my Theda are account so that he understood he was out of line.. My final straw was when he said "you're now obese" during a visit where I was complaining about such extreme exhaustion that standing up winded me. (5ft2 and 180ish). He then set an appointment for a few weeks later that I canceled to reschede due to work and he refused to fill my medication. I found a new provider. Within the first few minutes he asked why I was seeing Dr Duncan so often since I have specialists I see for my conditions. I responded frankly that it was likely to pad his wallet. We worked through that appointment, and he suggested that since the specialists alhave it well in hand, that I see him in a year for a physical and to catch up. Summery: I'm sure there are worse stories out there, but this was one of the worst medical experiences I've had. Because he's generally a capable doctor... I gave him 2 stars... Based on his personality and beside manner, I wouldn't have.

I've been seeing Dr Duncan for several years. I find him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. He and his staff work very hard to provide the best care. In fact, Dr Duncan recently recommended a prescription that improved my quality of life substantially. I can not thank him enough!

Patient

If I could leave a lower review I would. This Doctor and his staff have abandoned a patient who needed care. I wouldnt trust them with your family, friends, or even an enemy. Things to expect here- rude/insensitive staff, poor levels of care, and a general disregard to your concerns. Expect long hold times on the phone and staff who just won't return calls. 0/10 recommend.

Patient

Worst doctor visit ever. Rushed, not pleasant and doesn't respond or fill out paperwork.
