HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center

I went there on 12/1/25 to the ER. I was seen immediately and treated very well, everyone was very professional, caring. I was admitted and my care was great, start to finish especially nurse Casey, more I would name if I had written their names down but especially the fact they used my name each time they came in the room and they introduced themselves each shift change. I wish I knew name of the phlebotomist who was charged with getting my difficult veins to cooperate, she was funny and great. My only negative is on discharge day the Dr didn't put the orders in till hours later for lack of communication with the nurses who really run the show

Good morning, The patient that I was staying with was unable to write a review, but Lenny was such a kind and helpful RN that I needed to leave a review for the patient. I was staying overnight at the hospital, and I won't go into too much detail about the patient's issues or specific care needs, but I will say that it was not fun work involved for this patient. However, Lenny was super compassionate and did not complain at all about the tough work. I felt bad that I couldn't help out at all. There are good people in this world and Lenny is one of them. 2nd incident with this hospital. Ist one was years ago when I was left unattended for a very long time after receiving some liquids I was supposed to be xrayed with after I pushed the button several times..now today I was told by the dentist I would need and emergency referral from the hospital to have my tooth removed immediately and even though the hospital said yes its assessed and needs to come out refused a referral? Can anyone explain that? Don't go here.

A family member was transferred to St. Mary's due to both local hospitals being at capacity. I don't understand lower reviews of this hospital. The employees were friendly. St. Mary's seems to be fully staffed, complete with nursing assistants. My relatives level of care was very good. Her day nurse was great and I'm sure the others were too. This hospital is very clean. I can't say the same for the local HSHS she was transferred from. St. Mary's hospital is recommended by this reviewer.

I had a colonoscopy done on 11/14/25, with Dr. Pant and his team of nurses and anesthesiologists. Everyone was very kind and compassionate. I do not understand why all the negative reviews. I have never had any issues and only positive interactions with this Hospital.
