Impossible to get through scheduling on the phone. Expect you to do the intake paperwork online, then instead of being able to park close to the department I need in the back by the cafe and go to the department and be checked in, now I have to walk all the way to the front of the hospital to be checked in by someone, have to sit and wait until someone is free to do it, then backtrack all the way to the back of the hospital to get back to where I originally needed to go. Never mind helping the patient and making it an easy experience, they focus only on what makes them the most money. Sickening to know that's where my insurance coverage is.

Aurora BayCare gets 5 STARS ***** ... very happy with the whole team as my husband needed a Colonoscopy / Endoscopy. Dr. Cristescu did a fabulous job, the anesthesia done by Dr. Michael Johnson was great. Everything was explained and we got done ahead of schedule. All healthy and happy. Thank you Aurora BayCare!!

last year they double charged my insurance and it took months and multiple calls for them to correct it. kept telling me i had to work with insurance myself to fix it. this year i had a cold for several weeks and finally called a doctor. he spent less than ten minutes in the room, told me to take robitussin like i had been and said we could do a chest x ray if it made me feel better... total charges before insurance were $945, AND i was double charged for an assessment. I've been calling them to resolve for over 5 months now, and they sent the bill to collections without notifying me, fixing the issue, or even communicating. go to Bellin if you can. they're not great, but they're better than aurora.

DO NOT BRING ANY OF YOUR FAMILY HERE!!!! My father was seen for diverticulitis issues and was barely treated. He was in this hospital for 4 damn days and all they did was give him pain meds nothing else. I do have to the say the DAY nursing staff was very nice and welcome but the NIGHT STAFF NEEDS TO BE EVALUATED!!! My father did not receive any help throughout the night and was in a tremendous amount of pain. He went 7 hours without anyone checking on him even with his call light on for an hour. He pressed and pulled every button and no one came, what if he fell??? Not to mention the doctors said that they didn't want to do surgery because of an infection that couldn't be fixed until surgery was done. This hospital is a flat out joke!!! After leaving this hospital, not even a week after he got released he was readmitted into a different hospital and just underwent surgery and they found a huge abscess that could have killed him. Even the doctors at the new hospital said that this hospital (AURORA)literally did nothing except use his money for pointless reasons. THIS HOSPITAL DID NOT TREAT ANY OF THE 4 INFECTIONS MY FATHER HAD AND PROCEEDED TO SEND HIM HOME SAYING IT WOULD PASS!!! I'm incredibly angry with the ego this hospital thinks it has. All they care about is money rather than helping those in need. I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY AND ITS SICKING!!! I'm tired of doctors acting like they save patients when in reality they are more concerned on what they are doing for the weekend Personally this hospital should be shut down

Absolutely Terrible place when it comes to billing and customer service. For future patients they only send you digital bills and not paperbills. I found that out when they sent me to collections. I personally was waiting for a paperbill in the mail which they sent one right before they sent me to collections. NO ONE at the hospital told me my bill would only be sent digitally and on an app. If I had known that I would have downloaded the app at that time and set up a payment plan. When I called their billing they were zero help and basically said your SOL because its out of their hands now. Not only did they fail to disclose how my bill would be sent to me, now my credit score got hit. Its absolutely ridiculous. I will never use Aurora again!!!
