Aurora Medical Center - Grafton

I would like to thank Dr Scott Johnson and thew ENTIRE staff at Aurora Grafton Hospital. Dr Johnson performed heart mitral valve repair surgery as my cordae had broken free, keeping valve from sealing. I got out of recovery on the 19th about 5PM and through their efforts and through pushing myself just past the comfort zone, I was able to go home just under 72 hours later There is a great support staff in place while I am at home. Outstanding care provided at this facility.

They gave my son the Hep B vaccine at birth after we said we didn't want him to get it. To her credit, the nurse told me she did it, but there was never a follow up. The only thing my doctor said was "she's our best nurse," which is a scary thought that the best nurse is vaccinating minute-old babies without parental consent. I tried contacting multiple superiors and have never heard back. Nobody apologized. No consequences. My second child was born at Froedtert and we had a great experience there.

Good care, great workers. And they spent their own money on getting a professional animal catcher to come and catch/rescue a local women's cat. Really wish the local women who lost their cat would recognize the work that this Hospital went through to get this accomplished for her.

Security are despicable here. An experienced and well respected rescuer is trying to catch her beloved cat that escaped and has been seen hanging around the parking lot. For some inexplicable reason, they refuse to allow her to catch him and have been rude and downright cruel.

Angela N (and the nurse that was training with her) in cardiology were phenomenal. They were pleasant, personable and very informative throughout the stay. Made a tough situation bearable...
