OakLeaf Clinics - Eau Claire Medical Clinic

I never provide negative reviews, but today I had to. It would be wrong to let this one slide. I am a nurse who works in Minnesota and had to call the Eau Claire clinic to request images for a patient who has transferred care. My call started with a rude woman who answered. She cut me off and transferred me to radiology. The woman in radiology was way worse - she was incredibly rude. She immediately interrupted me, actually sighed as if I was inconveniencing her for having to do her job, and when she asked me a question that I did not know the answer to, nor would I know the answer to, she snapped at me. Her behavior was completely unprofessional. If this is how she treats other professionals, I can only imagine the patient care. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone I know and if I ever needed care in Eau Claire, I would avoid this place like the plague!

I can't speak for all departments, but when I had my first baby I went through the five midwives in the OBGYN department. I cannot speak highly enough about their bedside manner and their services. I knew even the nursing staff by name and we had a lot of personal one-on-one chats. Their bedside manner is top notch. I did not feel like just another number, I felt like a friend. They offered pragmatic solutions but were not adverse to more medical ones either. They worked with you to fit your needs. They answered all our questions without irritation and with passion. They sent a personalized letter in the mail a year later celebrating my daughter's first year. When I had my daughter, the midwife and the nurse were both amazing. We were even laughing in the delivery room while I was in labor. The nurse cried when my baby was. Another midwife even came in after the birth because she was so invested in our birth journey. I love them and would recommend them over and over again. We had to change insurance with my husband's job so I couldn't stay with Oakleaf, but I really wished I could. Highly highly recommend the midwives!

I was a patient for years. When I complained about an unnecessary test that cost me thousands, I was told if I was unhappy with my care, I could kick rocks. It was unethical, unprofessional, and showed a lack of accountability. Overall, the care was poor/fair and amounted to my provider checking boxes. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 for the support staff who were always polite.

I have been a patient for 10+ years. Oak Leaf is a trusted medical provider that has not compromised service during their growth. Today, I had two appointments for diagnostic imaging, both were on time. Hope and Abby were the employees that handled my care. They were easy to talk to while they gathered health history information. They were professional and receptive to my needs. Both explained with clarity what they were going to do and why. It's comforting to know that Oak Leaf prioritizes customer care and satisfaction. Thank you!

They are so kind. They are the nicest and very good at listening and understanding. I have not had care this good since moving to this area. Thank you so much
