6/28/2024. A week ago I had a great visit with a new Physician, Dr. Martin Baur. Based on a discussion about ongoing heart issues, he recommended I schedule lab work and 2 heart tests -- which I did. And he recommended I visit a cardiac physician. Today I spoke with Libby, scheduler for Dr. Welka's office. She said the soonest we can schedule an appointment is DECEMBER. I asked for a clarification. "The soonest I can schedule an appointment is DECEMBER..." A 6-month waiting list for a referred heart health patient is a complete disregard to serving customer healthcare needs. And so I hung up.
