I have been a patient of Dr shetty for quite some time. I was sick, went to see him. He told me I was fine. Next day I was in the hospital with pneumonia the next day, he popped in and said I was ok, and should be home in a day. Next thing I know tube in my back. On returning to my next appointment. He said ooops sorry I missed that. I haven't seen him in like 5 years. They screwed my medicine up. And told me to call back , when I did they got mad, told me not to come back. His staff is a bunch of whiches in my opinion. But I am lucky enough to never go back.

How do you justify denying any pain relief to an acute ER admitted patient because you walked in and the patient was asleep so they must not need it at all?! Nurses have been trying to get him to prescribe all day and he refuses. Now he won't respond to the patient's request for a specific reason. WV Board of Medicine will be getting this information. I have had it. It's unacceptable.

My dad just recently passed away. Dr. Shetty was my dad's doctor. My dad really liked him. He trusted him with all of his medical needs and Dr. Shetty was good with him(my dad was usually nervous about what was going on with his health). Dr. Shetty is very busy, but when he could spare 10 minutes, he would talk to my dad about football and other personal things unrelated to his health. I believe my dad was happier every time he left there because he would call me(in a good mood) and tell me about their conversations Thanks again Dr. Shetty!

I am very disappointed in the way Dr. Shetty and his assistants treated my friend. My friend had a simple infection which, I discovered later, could have been cured with a course of antibiotics. They did not prescribe the antibiotics that she needed and, as a result, she suffered for MONTHS with the infection. After several trips to the ER and a 2-day stay in the hospital (which she should have never had to have been admitted), I requested her to be seen by a specialist. He prescribed her an antibiotic and my friend is nearly fully recovered. I suspect with their lack of proper treatment for her, they may have been keeping her sick deliberately to collect Medicaid payments -- BEWARE!!

Worst Dr you could imagine ,won't let you see him, have to go tru a practitioner , gives you wrong information about your medical conditions, never called us back for a sever medical conditions that went on for a week, even after being told What the problem was what a joke Dr Shetty has turned out to be , they just do not care about your Health care cause he had other people are running his office .
