My experience at Raleigh General Hospital has been exceptional. The nurses on four North have been extremely kind and compassionate. I do not have to wait when I ring my car light more than a couple of minutes and they are in the room at a snap of a finger. They are taking care of me like I was one of the family. I highly recommend Raleigh general especially four North to all my friends and family. I especially want to send a shout out to the aides Chelsey. She checked on me quite often making sure I had what I needed. Nurse Jessica was also exceedingly exceptional. Thank you for your care.

The actual nurse from this visit deserves 5 stars all around. Jamie in the ER was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. This visit itself, deserves less than one star. After waiting several hours for a CT scan, only for the staff to lie about the reasoning, is far from the quality care this hospital portrays to put out. Far from a negative review from someone who doesn't understand how things function inside a hospital - our entire family understands that things are busy, and hospitals are chaotic. Radiology staff shouldn't come in a patients room and tell us they were waiting for the labs to come back; the labs that had already been back for two hours. Radiology might also want to check and make sure the patient ambulates well and offer a wheelchair instead of having their patients walk if unable. It's been a total of 6 hours since we've actually seen or received an update from a physician/NP/PA. We appreciate more than anything the hospitality from Jamie, but extremely disappointed with the rest of this visit. Update post ER: delayed CT, only to find out emergent surgery was needed. Surgeon (Kashyap) and surgery staff were very friendly and prompt with care. Extremely diligent with updates pre-op, during surgery, and post-op. Again, a huge thank you to Jamie from the ER and the surgery staff.

I had a bone marrow biopsy procedure today in CT. They made my experience graceful, from entering throughout and ending. I appreciate Elexis Lee and Tammy RN for making me comfortable and being supportive above measures while Dr Lintala explained every aspect of the procedure. I have had 2 bone marrow biopsies before and this was by far the best experience I've had! Thank you so much for taking the most high quality care of me! Y'all deserve 10 stars to me!

Stay away if you are African American! You will deal with prejudice and definitely arrogance! The staff will treat you as if they had a victory if they think you did something wrong in their opinion! I was asked 2 times by a RN nurse from hell who didn't even introduce herself she asked me if I had been drinking! I already know that hey do blood work and a urine sample on their patients! I had a total left parotidectomy and a facial nerve dissection! I had cancer! So I guess either that nurse assumed I had a I was drinking because I looked I had a stroke or Bells Parsley! When I am with my Power of attorney who is causian they treated me kindly! Unfortunately she had to leave suddenly! They last time I was there they put a intravenous line in and I never gave me anything to put in the line! Yes they did a EKG because of the money the will receive I was left on bed in the hallway!with no privacy! Instead of saying we will not help you! No one listen! I kept saying what did the doctor say! I received no answer! I was in pain from my ear! Not feeling well at all! I had pictures as well and you could clearly see my ear was bad! I also had high blood pressure and stomach issues! I kept saying I was a newly diabetic! They did not even checked my blood sugar! My BP was checked and some nursing assistant ask me if my BP was high and I said yes! I was told to see my dermatologis! They gave me medicine for my ear and when I did see a dermatologist he told me not to use what Raleigh General hospital gave me! I am not from this state! I have never seen the type of nom care displayed in the hospital especially the last time I was there! After that I needed to go to the hospital again but I was afraid of being treated like I was garbage! Nursing assistant, LPN , RN and doctors take a oath to take care of their patients! Not to be condescending! My mom was a RN supervisor in a military hospital! If she was alive she would be completely appalled and mortified to see this type of behavior displayed in a hospital! Shame on you Raleigh General hospital! I am so very disappointed and judging people should never be a issue! We all are the same regardless of ethnicity!

An absolute sham of a "hospital" One doctor for the entire place. Nurses had no idea how to do their jobs. Didn't have enough beds ormed poles. Meds were given out at any random time these jokers "could get to it". Listened to the cleaners talk trash about the nurses. The nurses talk trash back about the cleaners and doctors. Don't send your worst enemy to that joke of an institution
