Patient
TVC has a hard time keeping staff and their patients pay the price. They have too many patients and cannot provide adequate care for them at any of their multiple locations so patients are left without access to care. They like to hire interns to do most of the heavy lifting, with few doctors on rotation. The doctors will often quit or call out, leaving patients to be rescheduled at the last minute. They have staffing problems, or they overfill their patients because they will not be able to reschedule for another 6 months, leaving patients without care for the better part of a year. The specialty doctors are almost impossible to see, and you will be ignored and sent to urgent care repeatedly. Urgent care is great and they will share your frustration and say that many patients have similar issues with TVC being understaffed and not able to prove adequate care. Their admin will ignore complaints and be rude because they don't think it's important that patients receive care within the year. If you have any chronic illness and need actual medical care I would suggest avoiding TVC because you will not receive ongoing care here. If you see a doctor 1-2 times a year this is a perfect clinic for you.
