From the first friendly and easy interaction with Terri at reception, I had wonderful care at the clinic. All of the staff were very attentive, friendly, and professional. Christa was great; explained everything well, had a perfect sense of humor and easy to talk with. Brian was very professional and had an easy going approach and sense of humor. Sheryl was very helpful in explaining things to both me and my daughter. Overall pre and post surgery those 3 provided both nurturing and educational care. I remember Mel from the surgery and appreciated her attentiveness to me. Craig, Ashley, and all of the other surgical team took me under their care with kindness and professionalism. I had not had surgery in 29 years prior to this one and couldn't have asked for a better, more competent team of medical care. Dr. Chappell was so caring, taking the time to answer mine and my daughter's questions. I am grateful that he did my surgery. I highly recommend him, the staff and services at Gig Harbor.

I recently had a great experience at St. Joseph Medical Center. The staff -- from the nurses to the doctors -- were professional, friendly, and communicated clearly throughout my visit. The facility is clean and well-organized, and I felt cared for the whole time. I especially appreciated how attentive the team was during my treatment. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable medical care in the Tacoma area!

The medical professionals kept me informed of my health and progress. The volunteers were very kind, especially since it was Thanksgiving. I was admitted on 11/26/25. The ER medical team were great and prompt. I was admitted over night and was kept informed of the progress for a room. This is my 3rd time admitted over night at Saint Joseph hospital . 2 times it was an emergency. I live in Gig Harbor and elect to go Saint Joseph over the other hospitals.

I like St Joes! This was a trip to the. ED and they consistently provide top grade care and compassion, from the triage , to nursing staff, to the physician. When I need care, especially when I'm told at a regularly scheduled Dr appt, to go straight to the ED, they concerned about life threatening conditions, St. Joes will always be my first choice for that care. Bonus for having the best food and ordering 2 meals at once is perfectly acceptable! Thanks for being there St Joes and for the dedicated compassionate and friendly staff too. Good job! PS: glad I'm not dead aren't you!? Me too!
