The most terrible awful experience happened here, I was turned away 3 times while in active labor, causing stress that led my delivery to be a medicated when planned to be unmedicated due to being's in active labor for 48 hours. They kept telling me I was only 4 1/2cm dilated and I was not an active labor which this is my seventh kid and I knew I was. I just always need a little Pitocin to help me get past. That being said, my friend was in the waiting room and overheard the nurse saying that they just had no beds. That's why they kept turning me away, this situation could have led to something way worse I'm glad that I went to good Samaritan and my care was their first priority. I wish I would've went there sooner. I would not recommend anybody going to labor and delivery here because they do not put peoples needs first. They did not hear anything I said and did not prioritize. What was in my best interest. Instead of just telling me, we don't have a room and referring me to another Hospital they just kept telling me I wasn't an active labor when I was. This hospital needs more beds or learn to communicate better so their patients are safe. Worst experience ever

I had a PEG tube procedure scheduled for today at 2:00 PM, and I signed in at the MultiCare registration office front desk at 1:30 PM. There were many patients waiting, yet only one staff member was actually working at the registration desk. The other two employees were standing there chatting with each other and not assisting anyone. After waiting for about 25 minutes, I was finally helped by the one staff member who was doing her job. When there are three people present but only one is working, it's not surprising that MultiCare receives such low reviews. Please ask the staff to be more professional and to focus on their responsibilities.

I went to MultiCare Tacoma General October 28th when I cut my finger on a job site because it was close. I asked is this a urgent care or a hospital? They said it's an urgent care also. What a rip, I got three stitches on my finger. They billed my insurance company $3253.95.... are you kidding me $1000 per stitch I was there maybe an hour. I just wanted to get my finger stitched up not pay the rent for one month. My shares is 1310.08. Absolutely ridiculous. Three stitches should not cost anything more than maybe four or $500 at the most.

I have infection on my My dialysis too in my stomach when I first got to emergency room First check in it was grey. They took me to the bag I was staying in the wall on the bed they did didn't care About me at all I was in so much pain. My stomach hurts so bad. I was crying and screaming. They give me a Tylenol. They did not help. I was infection for my doctors site. I keep telling them I'm hurting they didn't care. Finally the doctor come put me into the room I was in the room for one hour. They finally give me some Pain pill on my IV I feel a little bit better, but I'm still hurting a lot couple hours It took me to the fifth floor everybody there was so nice and kind I give them a five star today later they took me to recovery room downstairs which is fourth floor. Let me tell you about this for you. Don't wanna be here. I have to use the restroom, but I cannot walk by myself. I have fall down So I pulled the cord from the bathroom. The lady have never showed up half an hour When I finally called back into my bed, I feel so embarrassed to ask for help in this level because They will never come they look at you like garbage every time you're asking for something I ask her my urine is full from the collectible that you put in the toilet. Can I use the restroom or can I pull it out? She told me you have to pull it out, measure it and write it down on the Whiteboard and I was like huh? I can barely walk ma'am. I can barely see. I'm in pain you want me to write down how much I pee and measure it are you OK? She just ignore me and that's what I have to do. So yes, that's what I go through. It was terrible. I would love to give five star to my dialysis team you are the best

I had an outpatient laproscopic hysterectomy in early November. Everyone on my care team was thoughtful, patient, and kind. Their follow up has been supportive and proactive. It was one of the best hospital experiences I've ever had.
