Mary Bridge Children's Cardiology

The provider Dr McCloskey and MA Justin took care of my little girl Cielo today. Although it was a 2 hour appointment they were able to take care of everything. Dr explained everything to us really clear and on a simple way. My kiddo normally does not like going to any Dr appointments but for some reason she enjoyed the visit today and can't stop talking about it. Lol Thank you all for your service.

I am a long time patient, and when they changed hands it all went down hill. The staff never lets me talk to my DR. I can never trust them to get the right message to the nurses or my DR. And they have pressured me into wanting my PTINR done when I am sick or just plain busy. They are very unprofessional and they laughed at me when I was explaining something important to them. I don't like the new staff of Mary Bridge Cardiology. I don't trust them. I wish it never changed hands. That being said. Please know that the Drs are incredible!!! But you will struggle with their new staff.

Waited months to get this appointment, drove an hour to get here, spent 20-25 minutes looking for parking. All lots on MLK and J street had full lot signs and there was no street parking along MLK, J, or 6th st. It was now our appointment time and I didn't know what to do so I parked at an empty specialty parking lot across the street. The lot was completely empty other than one car and I parked all the way in the back to ensure I didn't take a spot of someone who needed to be there. When I showed up for the appointment they told me my daughter couldn't be seen until I moved because the other specialty would get upset. I let her know there was no other option but it didn't matter so I had to leave. A petty parking lot war between two specialties in the same hospital means more to them than your child's health.

We received two notifications that our appointment was at 2:00pm and understood that there is a 15 minute grace period. We arrived at 2:04 and was told we were too late and that our appointment was at 1:45pm. I showed the receptionist the notification we received and her response was "I don't know what that is". Really disappointing and frustrating.

I have been going to this office for over 10 years now and was assured by my cardiologist that I would be able to continue being a patient at this office into adulthood (very common when heart problems originated in childhood). I called the office and scheduled my yearly exam with no problem. A few days after, I was called and was told that my appointment was cancelled. I was informed that I would no longer be able to be seen by my cardiologist because I was "too old". Apparently this is a new policy but Mary Bridge failed to notify any of their patients in advance of this change. So now I have to beg my PCP for a referral to an adult cardiologist, which is taking forever. And on top of that, the adult cardiology office is scheduling for months out, so I will be completely missing my annual exam this year. I expect better care from a pediatric cardiology office. I would not trust Mary Bridge with your child, go to Seattle Children's.
