Kingson Momah, MD

Dr. Momah is Brusque, but Very Helpful. He Answers Questions that are Focused/Cogent. He seems (to this writer) to want Efficiency, and spends little time on Pleasantries. Respects MY time nearly as well as His. No Problems with Billing/Prescriptions/Appointments (but He is BUSY!) He most often is On-Time.

Dr. Momah saved my husbands life. He is direct but kind. My husband has gone to him for over 8 years and has had nothing but great experience. My husband is not one who loves to visit doctors, but Dr. Momah makes him feel comfortable, and heard. He listens to him and makes sure he is taking care of him. We will not go to another cardiologist.

Absolutely horrible bed side manner. He made me feel like I disturbed his day. He was over a hour late. No eye contact and no apologies. He answered me the entire time without looking at me, even when I had questions. He left the room and ai I didn't know my appointment ended. I found my way out. I was so distraught I had to sit in my car before leaving. So I called a family member to discuss my treatment and they finished the name from nearly 20 years ago having felt as I did. It brings no comfort to go against some one who studied for a career, but it also brings no comfort being disrespected. It bothered me having to speak up, but now I see I was not alone in those feelings. The establishment allowed the behavior then and still does now.

Dr. Momah really needs to improve his office and bedside manners. My father had an office visit to see what needs to be done for his open heart surgery, and most of the time he was speaking in his phone for dictation. Hard to understand, raised his finger when a question was asked, and when my father was trying to express the pressure in his chest, it's as if Dr. Momah wasn't even paying attention. When any explanation was given, he spoke too fast which is very difficult to understand especially with his accent. Felt like we were an inconvenience and never asked if my dad if he had any additional questions before he quickly got up and "ran" out of the exam room. I believe we definitely need to find a more personable and caring cardiologist. It's no wonder Dr. Momah is open to new patients. I pray other patients will not suffer due to lack of understanding being uninformed. As a heart doctor, or any doctor, this behavior should never be tolerated. Ever!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. His bedside manner was horrific. Not informative in anyway, was over an hour late but was just messing around with his staff, I could hear them. And just had a horrific attitude. Not a doctor that cares about helping people, he's the kind of doctor who's there for a paycheck and makes that MORE THAN OBVIOUS. And mind you, HES A HEART DOCTOR. His patients are there for serious matters and he doesn't care at all.
