i was told during a visit to auburn medical for a pinched nerve, after mri, etc that is have blocked arteries, arterial atherosclerosis, etc. they told me this is something you need to see a cardiac specialist asap. this is after their cardiac specialist read the mri's. i saw this doctor, Dr Igbalode. he was not a wealth of information that i wanted. the problem i have is being told upon asking, that he NEVER even looked at the mri images taken that led me to him. For me, that is a simple act of good medicine. He did not tell me what is the upside and downside of taking a statin. he told me to talk to my infectious disease doctor for more details. to me, he was following a template. i dont like feeling like he really didnt care, was going through the steps. he might be qualified, but i was not comfortable with him nor did i walk away feeling confident about my medical prognosis was in the hands of someone who actually cared!
