Kaiser Permanente Olympia Medical Center

I just moved to the area, and scheduled an appointment to get established with Kaiser. The appointment was exceptional. The nurse who first took me in was friendly and attentive and kind. When the doctor came in, he was the same way. He actually listened to me and ask for my opinion about my care. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

(12-18-25) Just recently had a diabetic eye exam on December 15, 2026. Just wish to say thank you to Dr. Liu and Shane for an appointment that went very well. All processes were explained fully and professionally. Best wishes to my medical care team.

Just another customer to these people. First visit to Kaiser. Wanted full check out etc. just turned 40. Doctor Badri barely looks me over. Asks me basic question. Was not impressed at all with him and his interaction and enthusiasm as a medical professional. I GOT CHARGED $353 dollars to remove what he called a wart.which did nothing. Looks exact same. What later on phone is considered a surgery and was considered cancerous by another person on phone. NO test done on it or samples. He took 45 seconds of a freeze can to my foot to freeze it off and charged me $353 bucks for that. Absolute scam!!! 1. Maybe tell someone what this could cost. 2. In no way was this a surgery at all. 3. Maybe look more than 3 seconds at something before you call it a wart Horrible first visit. Called after the fact to get info 5 calls later no success. Just a run around. Called support had to file a claim. Then had to file an appeal and still waiting. Absolutely scammers! This is why I am nothing but a customer to you and not a patient. Do better!!! Will never see that doctor again. No need to comment back if you cared woulda got help from someone already on this ridiculous charge.

Dr Spatz continues to provide excellent care. She is kind, knowledgeable, helpful, informative, and encouraging. She answers all of my questions and concerns. It feels like she cares about me and my health, that I'm not just a number. Took off a star for Kaiser overall as don't like it that they stopped 24 hour urgent care in the Olympia facility - so now would have to go all the way to Tacoma if have issue after Oly urgent care closes. And it can take a long time to get appt with your own Dr. Though saw recent info that they have added more same day appts for if you have something like getting sick, but I haven't had situation where would need to try for a same day appt, so not sure how easy/hard they are to get - and would guess you'd get whoever is available.

Everyone I met, including security staff, nurses, technicians, and PAs who helped me, was kind, polite, informative, and thorough. I was scared for my life when I arrived, but I left feeling confident I would be okay. For someone with a history of severe PTSD, they helped me both physically and mentally. I am thankful for the care I received
