Dr Lin Is new for me, I have seen several different Cardiologist with my ongoing condition. He took the time needed and followed up with the appropriate tests. I found him to be very thorough and attentive , he knew what he was doing. While he wastes no time on small talk, he effectively explained my questions and my concerns. I understand the rigid appointment schedule doctors keep and how many people they see. If he calls me at home and checks on me and gives me the results of the test, that shows a level of caring I don't see very often. Thank You Dr Lin.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lin's for about five years now (on and off depending on insurance). When I was switched to Kaiser for my work, I saw another cardiologist who was baffled my condition was as stable as it was. He praised his management of my medications and when my insurance switched again, I came right back to Dr. Lin. I'll refer him to anyone I know in need of a cardiologist.

UPDATE: I'm pleased that the nurse I was referring to called me back and apologized. An apology is rare in today's world and is worth another star for the professionalism. Dr. Lin's nurse at this clinic wouldn't answer my question about two over the counter medications an EH urgent care doctor wanted me to take for my ear tube congestion. I was simply double checking to see if it was ok because I have a heart condition. Medicine box labels/medical websites say to ask your doctor if you have a heart condition. But the nurse avoided answering my question and kept saying to make an appointment. But I had just saw an urgent care doctor. My heart condition is stable and I'm on medication. I couldn't understand why she wanted me to come in. Well after 4 days since I was supposed to start the medication and 4 exchanges via message with that nurse, she finally gave in and answered my question. I was ok to take the medication. Apparently she was mad that I hadn't returned for a follow up appointment with the Cardiologist a year later. Wow... I had no idea that I needed to do that! It would've been nice if someone had told me... the patient... or at least reminded me! At any rate, when I asked her about one more related medication for my ear tube, she said "We aren't a data base of medication knowledge just so you know." OMG! What a rude and unprofessional comment! I didn't appreciate the run around and the rudeness I got from his nurse at this clinic.

Dr Jacob Lin has little regard for his patients. He sent home my mother who had very high blood pressure because he was "too busy" to see her. After my mother's stress test the nurse was so concerned that my mother's blood pressure was so high the nurse called Dr Lin. He directed my mother to go home and take a blood pressure pill (which wasn't working in the first place and was the reason she was at Evergreen) and he would then call her. He never called and suggesting someone to go home with a blood pressure over 200 is not safe. Avoid this doctor.
