Not exactly a place you hope to visit, but in an emergency it's where you need to go. My mother-in-law fell and hit her head on the sidewalk, and the team brought her into triage immediately. It wasn't very busy for a Saturday evening, so perhaps we got lucky. All of the medical staff were kind and helpful. The only downside was the security personnel handling check-ins--they weren't very friendly--but everyone else in the hospital was great. Parking and the drop-off area were convenient. Overall, it was a positive experience given the circumstances. Thankfully, it was only a one night stay for observation and she checked out the next day. Her care was thorough, the team seemed to genuinely care for her well-being. There was a lot of construction, and signage was confusing so navigating this big facility was a challenge. Although, one sign seemed to stand out as we were leaving...quite popular with visitors I'd say...

I went in for a double bypass surgery, and came out respecting the RN's and Doctors who work there even more. Brenda (RN) lifted my spirits when I was discouraged the day after surgery. She has a wonderful way of motivating me when I was questioning the decision to have bypass surgery in the first place. The TEAM concept is so very clear in the ICU department. Every RN, CNA, Food Service staff member made me feel as if I had friends there. I would highly recommend the PeaceHealth Cardiology Center for their care. Dr. Jackson was simply fantastic the way she performed "routine" bypass surgery. She may think it's routine, but I call it a miracle she bestows on each patient of hers.

Everyone at the Hospital was very friendly and respectful. The nurses were very attentive to me and the phlebotomist was excellent at drawing blood. The food was the best I've ever had in a hospital. The doctors, nurses and the anesthesiologist were all excellent. I believe most people who have a good experience at a hospital rarely leave a rating. People who have a bad experience are more likely to leave a review and tend to exaggerate. I recommend this hospital to anyone needing treatment.

Worst hospital I have ever been to. ER nurses seem inconvenienced in general which comes off as under qualification at best and lack basic empathy and compassion. I'll spare everyone the details but my husband coded in the ER and no one knew what they were doing and were looking at me for answer when he wasn't breathing. I'd recommend anyone who works here as a nurse please go do something else if you hate your job that much. You aren't a checker at Safeway you are caring for peoples loved ones. Basic empathy would go a long ways!

The ER doctor Daniel Helzer was very kind and caring. But the triage nurse i first saw before being seen was NOT professional. I came in with chest pain and palpitations and felt like I was not taken seriously. She also commented on a poor woman who just had a seizure and said "are you seizure girl?" I dont see how thats cute or funny at all. They do not take us seriously. Its absolute chaos in that er. I am still having a lot of issues. Apparently my blood glucose is pretty high but i was not told that until I looked at all my own tests. Im sad. Especially from that nurse joking about patience being a seizure girl and these people NOT taking us seriously. I did not even want to come in but my husband was worried i was having a heart attack since its in my family history. Idk.... the good people who work here should quit and go somewhere else. They deserve to want to treat their patience correctly.
