Dr. Kam is truly the best ophthalmologist. My husband needs to receive Avastin injections every month. When the injections were done by other doctors, he often complained about pain from the needle. However, Dr. Kam's injections are consistently painless. In addition to his excellent skill, Dr. Kam is very understanding and compassionate, which makes a stressful procedure much more comfortable. We are extremely grateful for his care and highly recommend him.
My visit with Dr. Deepta Vasudev Rawat was exceptional. She was attentive, compassionate, and genuinely concerned about the outcome of my left eye cataract surgery. I appreciated how clearly she explained the needed corrective procedure--honest about the possible postoperative discomfort, yet reassuring throughout. Dr. Rawat took her time during the exam, listened carefully, and addressed every question in detail. I left feeling both informed and confident in her expertise. I was called into my appointment promptly. The medical assistant and provider were well organized for my post op visit. My questions and concerns were answered with kindness and care. I was reassured by the provider before, during and after my exam. Dr. Chyu offered helpful advice and provided well explained instructions and next steps. Kaiser as a company sucks. I've been in horrific pain for 10 months and they keep denying my referrals and treatment plans from my doctors. However, the doctors I have had are very attentive. They hear me, they've been doing everything they can to help me. They don't rush or dismiss me. (Which is rare in an urgent care or ER setting) If I could rate the healthcare workers separately it would be 5 stars. But if I could rate the company/insurance separately it would be 0 stars so that's why it's a 3.
