Dr. Myers and staff are nothing but kind. Dr. Myers will actually call you and go over your tests with you. How many Drs nowadays do that. He very thorough and keep ck of my heart. EKG caught a problem with my heart and after follows up and more tests I now have a pacemaker. My wife and me are well up in our years and feel very comfortable with the service we receive . One thing I do dislike is that ancient scale.LOL

Dr Meyers cared for my parents for over twenty years. He is great with patients and knowledgeable in his field. He met mom in the ER countless times and followed her to Fairfax for procedures to be done. He even called us back when he was on vacation to coordinate her care. Mom loved Dr Myers and Hazel. Hazel knows the business and cares for the patients. I don't believe the issues with billing. It's always protocol to secure payment in any doctors office before seeing a patient. That is explained by every doctor and dentist. There are also documentation requirements for any service provided. Try working with your insurance company for charges and payments as well as asking for the bill to be reviewed. That office is a busy office because he's very good! When I worked in the ER years ago I asked the head of the ER who he'd go to for my parents and it was Dr. Meyers. ~ Anna's daughter

Beware of Surprised Billing Dr. Meyers is great but the billing department is abusive and unprofessional. They have questionable billing practices for unscheduled appointment. I only visited his office in person two visits and was surprised after being billed two months later for multiple "Telehealth" appointment. After receiving my invoice from Dr. Meyers office and reviewing my insurance explanation of benefits charges submitted some errors were noticed in addition to multiple "Telehealth" appointment. I attempted to address these issues with Dr. Meyers billing person and office staff, but was treated disrespectfully. I was told my in office visits co-payments were never paid. I told his office/ billing person that is not correct and have receipts and can provide the transaction number. Her response was you didn't make payments for your in office visits and anyone can fake receipts. I couldn't believe someone would tell or imply a customer is fake receipts. The bill person called Dr. Meyers office staff and found out indeed I had paid for my two office visits, but didn't admit to being wrong or apologize. Next was attempting to get an explanation of all the "Telehealth" unscheduled appointment. The billing person was rude and defensive when simply trying to understand, why I was being billed for phone calls from Dr. Meyers that were not scheduled or request by myself as "Telehealth". Her responses was rude and stated you scheduled all the calls but could not provide information on the date I scheduled the Telehealth appointment or time and length of the Telehealth appointment. In addition the invoice had conflicting dates of service from information submitted to my insurance company. I tried to explain all this information to Dr. Meyers staff but they were rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this practice in Woodbridge!!! I will not be returning to this practice which is unfortunate for Dr. Meyers. He doesn't deserve to lose a patient over the stubbornness, incompetence, and rudeness of his billing department.

Dr. Meyers is great but the billing department is abusive and has been bullying me over an insurance claim filing error that they should have corrected. After numerous opportunities to correct her error, the billing lady has continued to harass me and is now sending my account to collections over her error that she refuses to fix. I will not be returning to this practice which is unfortunate for Dr. Meyers. He doesn't deserve to lose a patient over the stubbornness and incompetence of his billing department.

Just now got off the phone with Dr. Myers office manager trying to schedule an follow-up appointment after being discharged from the hospital for a heart attack. All she constantly worried about was not being stuck with a bill if my insurance didn't cover service. As a healthcare profession myself our main focus is the health of our patients not about being stuck with a bill. Then she proceeded to tell me that she can't schedule me because I don't have my insurance card and she can't just take my member ID number... which is untrue... again I do it on a daily when I completing benefit verifications. Stay far away from this office.. management is very UNPROFESSIONAL and this practice is not patient focused is production driven! Thanks Dr. Myers for the awesome job at INOVA of Alexandria... however, you staff in your practice needs to undergo reconstruction!!
