Love Dr Vermani. Next time to explain and answer any questions I have. He has done a hard care on me and placed a stent in my carotid artery.

Last October I underwent pacemaker surgery by Dr. Virmani. I was discharged five hours later. I was prescribed atenolol for high blood pressure, and, upon arriving home, I took one. Within an hour, my blood pressure dropped and I became dizzy and light-headed and had chest pain. My daughter called 911. When I arrived at the ER, the nurse discovered that the IV from my surgery earlier that morning was still in my arm. I was admitted to the ICU. A few hours later, I went into sudden cardiac arrest and a vigilant nurse performed CPR. I was resuscitated and remained in the hospital for two weeks while my blood pressure was stabilized. While recuperating at home, I called his office after several blood pressure spikes. It took four days to have my call returned. When his office finally called, I was offered an appointment in February, which was unacceptable. I had to rely on my PCP for guidance until I could be seen by a new cardiologist. I am not qualified to rate his surgical skills, but based on his lack of communication, impersonal style, and dismissive attitude, I would not recommend Dr. Virmani to anyone looking for a cardiologist.

Doctor cancelled two different appointments because he didn't want to come into the office. Have waited four months. Giving up on this doctor. Could have already seen someone else. Don't waste your time.

Dr Virmani's office staff leave a lot to be desired. I have left messages on the nurse line and never received a call back. An appointment was canceled without notifying me. Very frustrating.
