Patient
I had an appointment with Dr Kumar today at 2.45 pm with an arrival 15 minutes early to complete all necessary paper work , so at 2.30 I was at his office and at 2.40 I was called in by a nurse to take note of my vitals. Thus far everything was smooth sailing till the hour the doctor was supposed to show up for the visit. At 3.05 the doctor is still missing and I'm sitting in this boring yet typical exam room wondering how much longer do I have to wait, so I left the room and spoke to one of the nurses informing her that I waited too long , she said I was next , I asked her if she knew how much longer I have to wait and she said she didn't know so I left . As I was leaving the office with complete annoyance i ... thought to myself why cannot doctors's offices inform a patient of a delay if it was expected instead of the irritating statement given by the nurse : the doctor will be with you shortly ... we know that doctors are busy but doctors need to understand that some patients are also busy and it is a common courtesy to inform a patient of a Daley.
