I was introduced to Dr. Lawson by a close and long time friend after mentioning some health items I have been troubled over and struggling with. I made an appt and my first consultation w/ Dr. Lawson was AMAZING! She listened intently and showed so much care. Immediately, she began to map out a wellness plan to tackle each of my concerns and lab results so I can begin to feel great once again. I'm on my way and just grateful for Dr. Lawson.

Dr.Mian is just wonderful! In the six months I've been seeing her, I've gone from feeling absolutely horrible to better than I have in years. My primary doctor was unable to diagnose my thyroid issues, autoimmune disease or the CIRS I was suffering from due to mold illness. Proactive Wellness Center was recommended to me by my sister, who is in ongoing treatment there. I am so happy I took her advice, because if not, I would continue to be suffering from a multitude of debilitating symptoms long term. I highly recommend this amazing center!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lawson at Proactive Wellness Centers for over a decade--almost as long as the practice has been in existence. I have found Dr. Lawson and her staff to be attentive and responsive in every way from analyzing medical issues and finding solutions to setting and keeping appointments to interpreting labs to filling prescriptions and issuing letters of medical necessity. Dr. Lawson is a careful, thorough, and meticulous practitioner who researches your medical issues very carefully, continually searching for the best outcomes for her patients. Hers is a concierge practice with the most reasonable rates. I highly recommend Dr. Lawson for individualized care!

I've been a patient of Dr. Lawson's for almost a year now, but I've been battling a mysterious chronic illness for over a decade. During those ten years, I saw countless doctors and specialists--none of whom were able to correctly diagnose me. At my very first visit with Dr. Lawson, she was able to identify the root cause that had gone undiagnosed for so long. That moment was life-changing. Dr. Lawson genuinely cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond, not just medically but personally as well. I've needed short-term disability paperwork filled out on multiple occasions and she has always helped promptly and without hesitation. She's also incredibly attentive and truly listens - which is rare in today's healthcare system. Living with a chronic illness is incredibly complex, but Dr. Lawson fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where it genuinely feels like we're working together to find solutions. She also offers access to a team of knowledgeable practitioners through her programs--such as a nutritionist and a nurse practitioner--who are all well-versed in managing chronic illness. While I still have a long road ahead, given the damage done over the past 10 years, I truly believe that Dr. Lawson and her team are the right people to help me restore my health and rebuild my life. While I did experience some minor issues with the front office staff , those concerns have since been resolved. Her current staff is kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you're looking for a doctor who provides individualized, compassionate care and truly listens, I highly recommend Dr. Lawson.

Stay away from this practice at all costs. This is not a professional practice at all. Unfortunately, I have had a similar experience as another recent reviewer where this practice charged me nearly $3k over the agreed amount. I paid in full up front but found out that they were continuing to charge me a large amount every month. When I finally got a hold of the individual who could fix the issue (which took a ridiculous amount of phone calls and messages) after I noticed the first couple of extra charges, they promised me it was fixed and that they would refund all of the extra money. This did not happen. They only refunded some of the extra money they charged and I also continued to get charged each month. When I realized this was still happening, I called them and told them this is the last straw and I needed them to refund the nearly $2k remaining of the extra they had charged me immediately or I would have to get my lawyer involved. The person I talked to on the phone told me she couldn't help me but she promised me that another individual who could help would call me back at a specific time that same day. They did not call. I kept calling them and finally got a hold of someone in their office and told them I did not want a call back but to please transfer my call to the person who could fix the issue immediately. Once I spoke with them, they agreed to refund the extra charges. Now I'm just waiting to see if those charges get refunded in total and if I don't get any additional charges. I will update the review when my money is refunded.
