Wish I had read the reviews prior to. I was not made aware of out of pocket costs upfront prior to the procedure. Received bill in the mail and called in to see if they had billed my insurance. Billing staff said they thought I was self pay. They already had my insurance information, so they went ahead and submitted the claim. Weeks later, I received an updated bill where I owed MORE than the original bill. If you have health insurance, they will bill your insurance a higher amount. After "discounts", my balance was HIGHER than the original balance. They even went to the extent of adjusting a past bill of mine from April that I had already paid in full (as self pay) and billed me for more because I had insurance. I called in to my insurance company to appeal. My insurance company stated that Bayview needed to recode the claim and resubmit it to be paid. Numerous calls to Bayview with nothing but the run around.
