I was unenthusiastic about this experience from the moment the MA took me back for triage. No introduction, no warmth, and definitely did not care to ensure the EKG was performed properly. The doctor, who also did not introduce himself, saw me all together for a total of 3 mins, listened to my heart, and told me the obvious things I knew from speaking with my PCP. The only positive to this, was the woman at the front desk who wore a smile and went further to ensure that my follow up was not 2 months out, considering the only reason I came to the specialist was to calm my fears. I must also preface by saying I work in healthcare and have seen so much more done. Maybe the doctor could worry more about the patients as opposed to making sure he leaves the office at 5.

Disappointed that Dr. Mafi apparently thinks eating no more than 700 Calories per day is healthy and sustainable. That's the only way I have ever been able to lose weight intentionally, which he would know if he'd asked if I tried instead of telling me I need to lose weight like I don't know I'm fat. Editing to bump up a couple stars because at least the rest of the staff has been lovely. Hopefully a different doctor will improve my opinion.

My experience with this practice has been not but great! Dr. Abousy is very knowledgeable about heart health. He's a great listener and very patient with his patients. He also was able to provide me with promotional coupons to offset my out-of-pocket expenses for my medications which helps out a lot The entire staff is friendly and very professional. I'm super happy that he extended his practice to Stafford VA. I was so content with this practice that I referred my sister who is now a patient.

My primary care, Dr Hernandez recommended Dr Mafi. Excellent choice. He took his time with me, and I didn't feel rushed. All my concerns were answered. Thanks Dr Mafi! Also, the office staff were polite and made sure all my insurance documents were in order.

I've been a patient for many years and been through different doctors. Been with Carient and Dr. Abousy since the last 6 years and can tell you they are very diligent, straight and committed to your cardiovascular health. They do not waste your time on things that are not essential and, from my experience with them, they take very good care and are dedicated to your needs. Thanks a lot and I hope to stay in this practice for a long time.
