My husband was diagnosed with AFib and went to a cardiologist who recommended he see Dr Mohanty. We're so glad that's where he ended up. Dr Mohanty's bedside manner and patient care is excellent and he's extremely knowledgeable. He seems to truly care about his patients and we've said multiple times he does what more doctors should be doing.

I met Dr. Mohanty in the hospital ER where I was diagnosed with a complete heart block. My heart rate was down to 40 bpm. Dr. Mohanty performed my pacemaker surgery and most likely saved my life. He has a wonderful bedside manner and has a reputation as a great surgeon. I look forward to having him as my cardiologist for many years to come.

I've been waiting a long time to get a specific test and he messed it up by telling me to take medicine before it that suppresses my symptoms. My Doctor's nurse said I should cease the medication and his told me to take it. When I asked him why he had me take the medicine he said he needed to see how well my medicine was working. No he didn't, that was not the point of the test and he is not my prescribing physician. I should have listened to my Doctor's office and not him. He wasn't in the room for the test, his nurses did everything while he stood around the nurses station. Monumental waste of time and an impediment to getting properly treated.

Dr Mohanty killed my mother from doing the watchman procedure on her for her A-fib. Do not take your loved ones to him. My mom had Parkinson's disease with hallucinations and delusions and they still pushed the watchmen procedure on my mom knowing she was 72 and had Parkinson's and hallucinations but they did it anyway. The day she came out of surgery. She was no longer herself anymore and didn't know who I was within a month she was gone.
