Dr Joyner put in dad's first defibrillator in 1997 and has cared for him and the device(s) for 28 years and 4 updates. He has been amazing and thorough and even tho we moved 3 hrs away, when it comes to the defibrillator we go to Richmond. His office also makes monthly care calls and monitors both his BP and defibrillator remotely. They call to discuss whenever necessary. We trust Dr Joyner and his team and we're grateful for their care and attention to details!

I recently made the change from another practice in Chesterfield County to VCS. I am very pleased with Dr. Joyner, in both his manor and knowledge. I feel like I am in good hands with my pacemaker maintenance moving forward.

I've dealt with many doctors over the years and I have been very pleased w/ Dr. Joyner and his staff. Dr Joyner is my father's doctor, but I accompany my dad to all of his appointments and help to manage his medical care. Dr Joyner and his staff have always been helpful and personable, and seem to genuinely care for their patients. They are willing to answer questions in person at appointments and/or by phone, and are always prompt to return phone calls, etc. I would highly recommend Dr. Joyner.

This doctor took me off all my fluid pills when I was experiencing AFIB. Fluid built up around my heart till I had percardial effusion. The staff in his office was given my leave of absence papers to fill out on December 28th. After numerous calls to the staff and office manager, they still had not been filled out. I finally called the head of the department and hopefully they got there on January 21st. Very unsatisfied with the service I've had and I'm looking for another cardiologist.

So far with my experience with this office, the worst. Mother in law been trying for a couple days to get a call back about a defibrillator that is in recall, you know, something that KEEPS HER ALIVE, and no one in this office has the common decency to call her back.
