I recently had a grapefruit sized lipoma from my chest/neck. Dr Newton might be the nicest & most compassionate person I've met to date an he has the best staff.....2nd to none... I was cared for like I was a family member...the nurses that cared for me was amazing....my room was top notch...everyone right down to the kitchen staff was amazing & the food was very good....God blessed me & I hope everyone that helped me is blessed 10fold.....love everyone that was involved in helping me.....

Dr Newton is a miracle worker. Performed an unexpected but needed quadruple bypass after the cardiologist terminated the angiography because of blockages. He and his staff gave me confidence in doing the surgery and managed a remarkable recovery process. I can't thank him, his staff and Sentara Heart Hospital enough. I recommend them without reservation!

Dr Newton took a chance to beat the odds on Veteran Larry D Bryant from Suffolk VA. The odds were stacked against him with only a 20% survival rate. Dr Newton became our guardian angel surgeon on Earth. Not only did Larry survive an 11 hour open heart ,triple bypass, double aortic valve replacement and aneurysm removal. He beat the odds! In two Short months he is thriving and complying. Today already having orientation for cardiac therapy. Dr Newton performed a miracle and gave hope and a future to my husband I am forever grateful and I do know there are angels on Earth doing God's work. I was in need of a my mitral valve replacement for quite a while.. My condition was worsening as time went by, everyday task were becoming impossible to do. After meeting with different surgeons who believed the surgery would be too risky. I was introduced to Dr Newton. The reality is when he agreed to do the surgery he saved my life,My family, and I are forever grateful. My healing process is going very well and I can already see a difference in my quality of life.
