Patient
How was my experience? Bad. Never have encountered so distant, uninterested, apathetic, and inconsiderate medical provider. He speaks challengingly if not argumentatively, and he was disengaged from the start, made patient uncomfortable even for asking questions- because he snaps right back at ya followed by very awkward silent treatment??!! His bedside manner is rather derogatory and doesn't listen, and yet steer patient to a corner- because he simply isn't there with you. His KP profile does say he tries to "empower patients for making their own decision" is just too fancy way of saying his "take or leave it" deal. He was even hesitant to explain just about anything, whether that's procedure or medications, or plan of actions. I could have far better medical conversation with a security guard. He just doesn't seem to know certain words like, "care", "patient", "humanism", "needs", etc. This isn't a doctor that I'd depend my health on, let alone taking a journey together, no matter how short the trip is. Very disappointed. Is KP lowering the bar?
