Dr. Ghafouri does not like to be asked questions. I was not impressed with his bedside manner. He was in a hurry, and seemed to be dismissive of women. He does have a wonderful staff so he has that going for him!

Dr. Ghafouri spends time with his patients to understand and treat their conditions. He has been doing a great job keeping my RA under control for years.

We did not click. Maybe it was a bad day for him. He was 20 minutes late and gave me at most 5. He seemed impatient with me and my questions and would not offer any explanations concerning side effects of a treatment I was having the consult about. I don't think he even reviewed my chart; I was not an individual but another old woman needing osteoporosis treatment. It seems like this is a known problem; as I was leaving, an office staff member noticed I was upset and asked what was wrong. I told her that my appt was rushed and unpleasant. She assured me Dr. Ghafouri is a great doctor, but not for everyone. I was offered another physician, but the whole experience left me wanting to support another practice. Not going back or recommending this Dr.
