About Dr. Matthew C. Sackett, MD
Dr Sackett is board certified in Internal Medicine -- cardiovascular disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. After earning his medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine, he received additional training through a residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University. He also did a Cardiology fellowship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and an Electrophysiology Fellowship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He loves caring for the Lynchburg and Danville community because, This is my home. I grew up here and my friends and family are here. I feel strongly about improving the health and quality of life for the people of this community.
